Dungeon Accessories: Part I (of many)

I have spent a lot of time in the last couple years painting dungeon accessories. At first I didn't want to, as there really isn't much time in-game for that, but the stellar paining on other blogs (and such) converted me. I'm not sure how much use they will actually see, but here is a Skull Monument from Fenris. Not sure where the Iron Maiden came from.

Kev Adam's C18 Zombies for Dungeons and Dragons

Kev Adam's Citadel C18 zombies are some of the most interesting miniatures very created. Thy are full of life (paradoxically) and have all kinds of small cool details that make them pop out. I painted them all a couple years ago. Here is the first batch:

Huge Spider

There has always been a subjective issue labelling something "giant spider" or "huge spider." To my mind a "giant spider" is about 5x5 ft or smaller, whereas a "huge spider" would be 10x10 ft or larger. I give you, the "huge spider" :)

Otherworld Troglodytes

Here are my Otherworld Troglodytes. I can't seem to find the Chieftain, but will add him in a later post. Enjoy.

Otherworld Lizardmen

These lizardmen are perfect for D&D, perhaps just a touch on the large for my personal taste, but that aside they are super sculpts and fit the motif well from the Monster Manual. I wish OW made some archers to go alongside them. I modded the weapons on a couple to provide some variety.

Ad&d Ghouls (Old and New)

I use these miniatures as Ghouls in my D&D homegame. Some are from the Citadel Ad&d range, others are Night Horrors, and still others are Talisman. Three are from Otherworld Miniatures.

Citadel Creepy Crawlies

I went on a bit of a rampage over the winter collecting, prepping, and painting Citadel Creepy Crawlies. I really appreciate the scale of these figures vis a vis Citadel 28mm human figures. I really hate modern oversized "giant" monsters, when, by rights, they would be "huge" in compasion to that scale.
These are the sexond batch of scorpions. My others are black.
Also a second batch of giant ticks.
These are pretty strange looking beetles, but tried to make the most of them.
These are the Ad&d fire beetles. I already have a set painted in that motif, so I sent blue here for other types of beetles.
A collection of giant rhinocerous beetles.
 Giant ants, big and small.
 Giant frogs.
More frogs with a different look.
 Giant lizards.
 Dimetrodons.
These giant crabs are from the early citadel fantasy tribes range, I believe.

C15-16 Armoured Orcs: Part II

Here is the second installment of my C15-16 Armoured Orcs. Behold the Orcs of the Red Eye!
This final guy was more of a colour test for Uruks I plan on painting down the road. In the final tally I don't think I will use it. I want very muted skin tones.
